Brent Roland
Brent is a co-founding, managing partner of Tierra Fenix Land Services. Brent's vast experience in the land services industry spans over 30 years. He's a product of Texas Tech University, having graduated in 1991 with a degree in Petroleum Land Management. After graduating from Texas Tech, Brent went straight to work with Phillips Petroleum Company, where he spent years advancing through the ranks, learning from some of the industry's best.
Over his 30-year career following Phillips, he provided sage land counsel to some of the most active and aggressive Exploration and Production companies in the industry, including P&P, Pioneer, and Samson. Brent's career has spanned diverse geographic areas, and his projects have included seismic acquisition, exploration, development drilling, acquisitions, and divestitures, among others.
Brent's hard work and experience would lead him to become Senior District Land Manager for Samson, divesting its STX assets for $300 million. After leaving Samson, Brent co-founded two other E&P companies before joining with Greg Stovall to co-found Tierra Fenix Land Services.
